These sections are the worst because, in this industry, it’s not about me; it’s about you—the artist. However, as we step forward into uncharted territory when it comes to music production, as it relates to things like AI songwriting software and the ever-evolving machine that is the music industry, I feel it’s more important now than ever to tell you a little bit about me.

I’m a guy born and raised in central Jersey who has always loved music. Seriously, from just 8 years old, I played bass, guitar, and violin, among other instruments. I loved music, and the instruments were a vehicle to get me there. Fast-forward a few years, and music became a lifestyle for me. I studied it in university and began to produce my own songs with my little rinky-dink setup—it was awesome. As the years went on, I grew the breadth of my musical tastes and wrote dozens of songs I have personally released under the artist names Vic Davi, Super Neato, and Dear Terra. All in all, I’ve released around 10 albums and dozens of singles. I write, produce, mix, and master all my own stuff, and it’s been an amazing journey so far. Ultimately, making music opened the door to making incredible connections with other artists who needed help producing their songs. This was new territory for me, but I was up for the challenge. I’ll never forget producing my first song for someone and hearing how much he loved it. Something in me knew that this isn’t just something I’m doing for myself anymore. I want to help others chase their dreams and find that joy for themselves when they hear their song literally come to life right before their eyes.

This was years ago, and now I’ve produced an unbelievable amount of music for some truly incredible artists—the kinds of people that are true diamonds in the rough. The journey with the artist is the best part of the process, and I’m convinced it determines what kind of song we end up with.
